NEWS FROM RESPECT LIFE
FOURTH PRO-LIFE BILLBOARD HAS NEW LOCATION
The St. Steven’s fourth Respect Life billboard was posted at the Gila river Premium Outlets for a contract of 120 days beginning on Mary 18 and ending on September 17, 2015. On August 5, we received a phone call from Theresa at the Hotline number and she said that a baby girl was born and was immediately adopted by a wonderful family via Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Phoenix. The Respect Life ministry members wanted to prolong the billboard rental for another month but the space had already been rented. However, Steve Gonzales, the executive in charge of the Gila River Displays said if we would pay for another $350 posting fee that they would move the graphics to another billboard. The new billboard location is located at I-10 south of Queen Creek , east side of the highway, facing north. Please drive by and view the billboard at its new location. Thank you for your prayers and financial support to make all of this happen. You are appreciated and loved. Special thanks also to the Gila River Displays group and Steve Gonzales for offering such a generous new posting site and allowing us to continue the journey of the fourth St. Steven’s Respect Life billboard. God bless all of you abundantly.
The purpose of this ministry is to enforce the Catholic Church’s position on the sacredness of life. In addition to holding various prayer sessions, the group also researches and discusses issues such as; abortion, stem cell research, cloning, and euthanasia. They host speakers and hold fundraisers. All parishioners are welcome! This group meets the first Tuesday of the month, October through June, at 8:00 am in the Great Hall.
