40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion through the use of prayer and fasting, constant vigil, and community outreach.
40 Days for Life takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion in America. The 40-day campaign tracks Biblical history, where God used 40-day periods to transform individuals, communities…and the entire world.
Since 2007, 9,207 individual campaigns have taken place in more than 855 cities in 65 nations and 20,000 churches and more than 1,000,000 volunteers across the world have joined together in this historic display of unity, prayer and fasting for an end to abortion.
40 Days for Life has succeeded in shutting down 148 abortion facilities and has documented saving at least 24,239 babies who are alive today to breath, to see, to feel, and to experience life outside their mother’s womb.
In addition to the babies, 256 abortion workers converted and left the abortion industry and thousands of women have been spared the suffering and trauma that comes with the decision to abort one’s own child.
The Spring 2025 Campaign begins Friday, February 14th, 2025 and ends Sunday, April 27th, 2025
Saint Steven’s Catholic Church, Sun Lakes, Arizona 480-895-9266
Baby bottles will be available in the office or in the courtyard after every Mass for parishioners to take home beginning Friday, February 14th and returned by Sunday, April 27th.
Please fill the bottles with coins, cash or checks as a special Lenten penance and return them to St. Steven’s office or give them to the ushers when you attend Mass.
These funds will be used to save the lives of babies by providing free ultrasounds, medical and financial assistance, counseling and other services for women, men and families in unplanned pregnancy situations so that they will choose life for their unborn babies.
St. Steven’s parishioners have been very generous in the past and St. Steven’s parishioners are appreciated so much for their financial assistance, sacrifices and multiple, powerful prayers that have helped to save the lives of the unborn. Presently, we know we have saved the lives of 3 babies whose mothers chose life and adoption for them.
God Bless You and All Your Loved Ones Abundantly and Keep You Happy, Healthy, Holy Safe and Prosperous.
